Privacy Policy
Transparency about how we handle personal data, cookies, and analytics in line with the GDPR.
Data we process
When you fill in the contact form, the details you provide (name, email, phone, city, age and your message) are sent as an email to the psychologist's mailbox. They are not stored in a database of ours. In addition, we only use statistics cookies (Google Analytics 4) and campaign measurement (Google Ads) via Google Tag Manager, after your explicit consent. Please do not include sensitive data or information about your mental or physical health in the form — these can be discussed by phone or during a session.
Email delivery provider (Resend)
For the technical delivery of contact form messages we use Resend (Resend, Inc., USA), acting as a data processor on our behalf. Form data is transmitted to Resend solely for delivering the email and is not used for any other purpose (e.g. advertising). Resend temporarily keeps delivery logs in line with its retention policy and is bound by a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) and Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for transfers outside the EEA, in accordance with the GDPR. Contact via WhatsApp
The website includes a button for instant messaging via WhatsApp. If you choose to use it, the conversation takes place inside the WhatsApp app, and your phone number and message content are subject to the privacy policy of WhatsApp / Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. The button simply opens the chat; we do not collect data through it beyond the message you send us. Please do not send sensitive health data via WhatsApp — these can be discussed during a session.
Purposes
Details shared via email are used solely to respond to your inquiry and are not disclosed to third parties. Anonymous analytics help us understand site usage and improve the browsing experience.
Legal basis & retention
Processing relies on your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)) for cookies/tags and on legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f)) for email communication. We keep no database of personal data beyond the email copy in the mailbox. Third-party cookies follow Google’s retention schedules.
Transfers outside the EEA
Some of the providers we use are based in the USA (Google for analytics, Resend for email delivery, Meta/WhatsApp for chat). In those cases your data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area, always on the basis of the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or other appropriate safeguards provided for by the GDPR.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of your data at any time, as well as withdraw cookie consent. Send your request to marianikopouloupsy@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
Confidentiality & Professional Secrecy
Any information relating to your health or psychological state that you share via email is subject to professional secrecy and will not be disclosed to third parties. It is processed solely for the purpose of responding to your inquiry.
Data security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse, or unauthorized access, such as an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and restricted access to the mailbox. No transmission of data over the internet is completely secure, but we work to minimize the relevant risks.
Cookies & preferences
The site operates normally with strictly necessary cookies only. Optionally you can enable GA4 and Google Ads tags via the consent banner. To change your choice later, delete the “psy-cookie-consent” entry or clear your browser storage. For full details on every cookie, see the Cookie Policy.
