Resilience Scale

The Brief Resilience Scale (BRS) by Smith and colleagues (2008) measures resilience in its original sense: the ability to “bounce back” and recover after stress and adversity. It is freely available with attribution to the authors. 6 questions, with three worded in reverse.

These questionnaires are self-observation tools and are not a substitute for clinical diagnosis by a psychiatrist or another mental health professional.
