Generalized Anxiety Questionnaire

The GAD-7 was developed to assess generalized anxiety and is part of the PRIME-MD protocol. It is widely used in primary care and has excellent validity in detecting anxiety disorders. Its simplicity makes it ideal for an initial assessment.

These questionnaires are self-observation tools and are not a substitute for clinical diagnosis by a psychiatrist or another mental health professional.
