PHQ-9
Depression Symptom Questionnaire
The PHQ-9 is one of the most widely used tools for assessing depression. It was developed by researchers at the University of Pennsylvania and has been validated in populations around the world. It is used both in clinical settings and for self-assessment, helping with the early recognition of depression symptoms.
These questionnaires are self-observation tools and are not a substitute for clinical diagnosis by a psychiatrist or another mental health professional.
