Self-Compassion Scale (short form)
The short form of the Self-Compassion Scale (Raes, Pommier, Neff & Van Gucht, 2011, based on Neff, 2003). Self-compassion isn't leniency or self-pity — it's standing by yourself, especially when you're in pain, as you would for someone you love.
Instruction: “How often do you treat yourself this way?” A self-observation tool, not a diagnosis.
These questionnaires are self-observation tools and are not a substitute for clinical diagnosis by a psychiatrist or another mental health professional.
Self-Compassion Scale (short form)
