Online Psychotherapy
A stable & safe therapeutic space — wherever you are.
Online psychotherapy makes it possible to have a stable therapeutic space, even when life changes place, rhythm, or circumstances.
Whether you live abroad, in a remote area, or are simply trying to fit caring for yourself into a demanding daily life, the need for a space where you can pause, speak, and be heard remains the same. The therapeutic encounter is not defined solely by the office or by physical presence in the same room, but by the quality of the relationship created between two people.
For many people, connecting from their own environment offers a sense of familiarity and safety that makes it easier to share difficult thoughts, feelings, and experiences. For others, it is a way to maintain a stable therapeutic relationship despite relocations, changes, or the demands of life.
Current research literature shows that the effectiveness of online psychotherapy is comparable to that of in-person therapy, while the therapeutic relationship remains an equally important factor of change in both formats of conducting sessions (Backhaus et al., 2012; Norwood et al., 2018; Berryhill et al., 2019; Flückiger et al., 2022).
Online sessions can make it easier to continue the therapeutic process when you live in remote areas or abroad, when professional or family obligations limit travel, or when connecting from your own space allows you to feel greater ease and safety within the meeting.
Sessions take place via video call, on a platform we choose together, and last 50 minutes.
The first step can be simpler.
